Why is it named Belle of Belfast?

We wanted to call it something different from traditional style Irish bars and of course something close to our hearts. The name came from the song 'I'll tell me ma' initially but then we realised Belle or Isabella is the name of the founder's mum. Then when you take the first initials BoB, that was her late father's name.

He actually wanted to retire to Spain but his health issues lead him to passing away in 2014.

So his legacy and dream are still being lived.
